About Us

A Family Business

The Old Mill Store is a small family business which began as an antique and gift store on The Wimberley Square in 1981.  Currently, it has grown to offer a variety of products large and small.   In the Old Mill General Store you can enjoy an assortment of goodies from Blue Bell Ice Cream, to nostalgic candies, Fredericksburg Fudge, Jelly Belly's, old fashioned candy and much more. Our General Store also features an array of toys including some vintage ones to entertain young and old alike. The little ones can play jacks or mine for beautiful rocks in our Old Mill Mining Cart.  Check out our wind-up robots or find the marbles which you might have lost as a child...kites, arrowheads, wooden puzzles…we have it all!

While the young ones are entertained with toys and ice cream, the adults can shop in our 7000 square feet of show room space.  The Old Mill Store features a vast variety of gifts, furniture, art, jewelry, handmade soaps, scented candles, honey comb calcite, hand painted blue bonnet pottery...from local Texas Artists and craftsmen to those from around the globe.  As you explore the store you will find metal sculptures by Benge Elliot, handmade jewelry from Roy Simpson, Green Hills Art and many other local artists along with handmade pottery from Nikki Jenkins and Melody Thomson. The Old Mill Store is dedicated to providing a wonderful and unique  experience for all.

The Old Mill Store has a delightful courtyard where you can sit, relax and enjoy beautiful sculptures by Benge Elliot, Bob Gotchall, and others.  In addition to the sculpture garden, you can visit the Longleaf Craft Kitchen and Bar right next door for delicious handcrafted food and drinks.  .
